Later pricing for a 1 to 3 person business

Later's entry plan costs $25.00 a month billed monthly, or $18.75 a month billed yearly, for one user and one social set. The tier table, the seat math and what a small team really pays are below, every figure read from later.com/pricing on 18 September 2026.

Later sells three plans, Starter, Growth and Scale, each bundling a number of social sets with a number of users, and each priced in two billing modes. Billed monthly they read $25.00, $50.00 and $110.00 a month; billed yearly they read $18.75, $37.50 and $82.50 a month, with the page's own toggle marking the yearly price as "3 months free" or 25 percent off (later.com/pricing, read 18 September 2026).

The number that decides a small business's bill is the user count, because the entry plan locks at one user and one social set and says extra users are not available on it. A one-person shop on Starter pays $25.00 a month, or $225.00 for the year at the yearly rate; the full one, two and three person table is below.

One disclosure before the numbers: the company that publishes this page sells a competing posting tool, named in the final section. Every Later figure here is Later's, read from its own page on one day and linked back to it.

Where every number came from

  • The plans page carried a Bill Monthly and a Bill Yearly toggle. Billed monthly it listed Starter at $25.00 a month, Growth at $50.00 and Scale at $110.00. Billed yearly the same plans read $18.75, $37.50 and $82.50 a month, each card labelled "Billed yearly", with the toggle marked "3 months free" and "25% off". A footnote read "Prices are billed in USD, applicable taxes are extra". later.com/pricing, read 18 September 2026
  • Each plan bundles a number of social sets with a number of users and a per-profile post cap. Starter carries 1 social set (8 profiles total), 1 user and 30 posts per profile a month; Growth is marked "Most popular" with 2 social sets (16 profiles), 2 users and 180 posts per profile a month; Scale carries 6 social sets (48 profiles), 4 users and unlimited posts. Growth and Scale list extra social sets, extra users and extra AI credits as paid add-ons. later.com/pricing, read 18 September 2026
  • Later's own FAQ defines a social set as one of each profile it supports: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and Snapchat. later.com/pricing, read 18 September 2026
  • No free plan appeared on the pricing page. Its opening line read "Manage your entire social media strategy. Free for 14 days", and every plan's button read "Start 14-day free trial", so the only no-cost access Later shows is a 14-day trial on a paid plan. later.com/pricing, read 18 September 2026
  • Later's own Starter card read "Extra Social Sets, users and AI credits not available", so the entry plan cannot grow past one user, one social set and five AI credits a month. The Growth card's "Everything in Starter plus" list named what the entry plan lacks: smart scheduling with future trends, collaboration and approvals, the social inbox, UGC collection and custom roles. later.com/pricing, read 18 September 2026

What Later charges, tier by tier

Every price above is the monthly plan price in USD, before the per-user and per-social-set add-ons on the higher tiers. The billed monthly column is the price when you pay month to month; the billed yearly column is the per-month rate when you pay for the year up front, which Later's toggle marks as 25 percent off. Users, social sets and the per-profile post cap are the limits shown on the same page.

What a small business actually pays

Billed monthly is the price when you pay month to month; billed yearly is the per-month rate when you pay for the year up front, which Later marks as 25 percent off. Starter's own card says extra users are not available, so a two-person shop steps up to Growth and a three-person shop adds one extra user at $5.00 a month ($3.75 a month billed yearly). The yearly column is the 12-month commitment at that rate.

TeamPlanBilled monthlyBilled yearly
1 personStarter$25.00 / $300.00 a year$18.75 / $225.00 a year
2 peopleGrowth$50.00 / $600.00 a year$37.50 / $450.00 a year
3 peopleGrowth + 1 extra user$55.00 / $660.00 a year$41.25 / $495.00 a year

What the Starter plan leaves out

Later's own Starter card reads "Extra Social Sets, users and AI credits not available", so the entry plan stays at one user, one social set and five AI credits a month. To add a second person you leave Starter entirely and step up to Growth, which includes two users.

The Growth card's "Everything in Starter plus" list names what the entry tier does not have: smart scheduling with future trends, collaboration and approvals, the social inbox, UGC collection and custom roles. Starter also caps analytics history at 3 months against 1 year on Growth and 2 years on Scale.

Later has a 14-day trial, not a free plan

On the pricing page read for this page, Later's opening line was "Manage your entire social media strategy. Free for 14 days", and every plan's button read "Start 14-day free trial". No free tier appeared anywhere on the page, so the only no-cost access Later shows is that trial, which sits on a paid plan rather than a free one.

The trial is a clock on a paid plan, not a permanent tier. Whether anything carries over past the 14 days is not stated on the page read for this page, so this page does not guess.

Who Later fits

You already shoot your own photography

Later is built around the visuals you bring: it lays out, schedules and analyzes content you shot, and its entry price undercuts a tool that makes the content for you. If your feed is already full of your own photos and reels, a scheduler is the cheaper hire.

Your week is running creator campaigns

Later's site pairs the scheduler with influencer marketing, a creator network and link in bio, which is a different job from making one business's weekly posts. If your week is about sourcing and briefing creators, that scope is Later's, and this page is not a fit.

When you want the posts written and designed for you

If the bottleneck is the post itself rather than the schedule, a scheduler only moves empty space around. SpeedRun Social generates the image, the video and the caption from your brand and publishes only after you approve. Its free plan is 300 credits a month refilled forever, one free campaign a week (3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post), no card, watermarked media on free. Paid plans are $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month, flat per workspace and not per user, with image and video generation included on every tier.

How this page was priced

On 18 September 2026 every Later figure above was read off later.com/pricing, and each claim links back to it. Nothing here is restated from a review site, a roundup or an AI answer.

Later publishes two billing modes, so both are shown and each is labelled. The monthly column is the price when you pay month to month; the yearly column is the page's own per-month rate for annual billing, which it marks as 25 percent off.

The seat table is arithmetic, not opinion: each row is the plan price plus the user count, with the yearly column the same sum times twelve. content.test.ts recomputes every cell from the one constant per tier and per add-on.

The company publishing this page sells a competing posting tool, which the final section names. There are no scores, stars, testimonials or customer counts here. We are new and have very few customers, and a rating would imply a bake-off nobody ran. Prices move, so open the linked page before any number here decides anything.

Questions about the Later price

  • How much does Later cost a month?

On 18 September 2026, Later's pricing page listed Starter at $25.00, Growth at $50.00 and Scale at $110.00 a month when billed monthly. Billed yearly the same plans read $18.75, $37.50 and $82.50 a month, which the page marks as 25 percent off, or three months free. Every price is in USD, and the page's footnote adds that applicable taxes are extra.

  • Does Later have a free plan?

It has no free plan. The page opened with "Manage your entire social media strategy. Free for 14 days", and each plan's button read "Start 14-day free trial". The only no-cost access Later shows is that 14-day trial, which sits on a paid plan rather than a free tier.

  • How much does Later cost for two or three people?

Later's bill climbs with users because the entry plan locks at one. A one-person shop on Starter pays $25.00 a month, or $225.00 a year at the yearly rate. Two people need Growth, at $50.00 a month or $450.00 a year. Three people need Growth plus one extra user at $5.00 a month, so $55.00 a month or $660.00 a year, or $41.25 a month and $495.00 a year at the yearly rate. The full table sits higher on this page.

  • What is a social set on Later?

Later's own FAQ says a social set includes one of each profile it supports: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and Snapchat. Each plan bundles a number of social sets with a number of users: one set and one user on Starter, two and two on Growth, six and four on Scale.

  • What does the Starter plan not include?

Starter's own card reads "Extra Social Sets, users and AI credits not available", so the entry plan stays at one user, one social set and five AI credits a month. The Growth card's "Everything in Starter plus" list adds smart scheduling, collaboration and approvals, the social inbox, UGC collection and custom roles, all of which Starter does not include.
