Later is built for exactly that feed, with Best Time to Post, a Link in Bio, and a queue that keeps the studio posting on the days nobody has an hour for captions. What it does not do is write like the shop, post to the Google listing a walk-in searches, or book the chair, so the words still come from a person and the appointment still happens over text.

    Later schedules but does not write for you beyond a small AI credit allowance, and nothing on its pricing page names Google Business Profile, so the map search for a tattoo shop nearby stays with whoever runs that listing by hand.     A scheduler priced per social account rather than per seat, which suits a tattoo studio running one Instagram and a Google listing. Its plans page names Google Business Profiles among the things it publishes, so the healed shot can go to the profile a walk-in reaches through a search rather than only to a feed.

    Publer's plans page prints both billing modes inside the same card. Professional read $5.00 a month billed monthly or $4.00 a month billed yearly, and Business read $10.00 a month or $8.00, with a 7-day and a 14-day trial respectively.     Publer: honest limitation

    Publer makes no video, and its AI assist, which writes captions and generates images, comes as one-time sign-up credits on the free plan and then as part of the Business plan, which the plans page prices at $10.00 a month per social account, billed monthly, so once the credits are spent the healed shot still has to come from the artist's phone and the two sentences from a person.     A scheduler with analytics and competitor tracking attached, and Google Business Profile named on the pricing page itself. A tattoo studio that wants to know whether a month of posting moves anything, rather than only that it happened, is paying for the reporting half as much as the publishing half.

The dearer ladder, billed monthly, listed Starter from $25 a month for 5 brands, and Advanced from $67 a month for 15 brands up to $210 for 50.     Metricool makes no images or video and writes no caption either, and its entry ladder starts at five brands, which is four more than a single tattoo studio runs, so the cheapest paid tier is priced for an agency and sold to one location at the same number.     It makes the caption and the image together and schedules them on its cheapest tier, and at $29 a month billed monthly that is a small number for a tool that does both. The catch for a tattoo studio is in what it makes: a generated image of a tattoo that does not exist cannot stand in for the healed photo a client is actually buying, so it earns its place as a flash-sheet and announcement generator, not a portfolio.

    Ocoya's plan cards listed Starter at $29 a month billed monthly for 1 user, 5 social profiles and 300 credits, Team at $79 a month billed monthly for 5 users and 20 profiles, and Agency at $199 a month billed monthly for 20 users and 100 profiles.     There is no free plan, only a 7-day trial, and its pricing page never mentions Google Business Profile, so the posting it automates lands on the feeds a studio is found on second rather than the map search that finds it first.     Not a social media tool, and it is ranked here because a tattoo studio's feed all points at one thing: a booked chair. It takes the appointment, the deposit and the card, and it manages reviews and sends email and text marketing, with social media templates to download. What it does not do is publish anything to Instagram or TikTok, so the feed still has to be built in another tool.

    GlossGenius's pricing page printed Standard at $28 a month billed monthly or $24 a month billed annually, Gold at $56 a month billed monthly or $48 billed annually, and Platinum at $168 a month billed monthly or $148 billed annually.     Also not a social media tool: it is the booking and payments front desk a walk-in meets, and its pricing page names Tattoo & Piercing as a business type it serves. The free plan is a real free plan rather than a countdown, so a new studio can run its calendar on it from day one, and the feed still has to be built in a scheduler or a generator.

    Square Appointments' pricing page listed Square Free at $0 a month per location, Square Plus at $49 a month per location with a 30-day free trial, and Square Premium at $149 a month per location with a 30-day free trial, all billed monthly, with Square Pro priced on request. How this list was ranked

The stake first: we build SpeedRun Social, it is entry one of seven, and it sits above Later, a scheduler we do not own that asks less than we do once a studio is paying. A vendor's roundup earns a tattoo studio owner's time only when the stake is stated before the ranking rather than under it, so it is said here.

Every figure on this page was read off the vendor's own pricing page on 17 September 2026 in a real browser, and the address bar was checked against the address requested before a single number was written down. Nothing was restated from a review site, another roundup or an assistant's answer. No stars, no scores, no customer counts, ours least of all. Every claim links to the page it came from with the date it was read.

Billing modes are named wherever a price appears. Later's page opened on its yearly toggle and would not show its monthly figures to this read, so its entry quotes the yearly numbers and says the monthly ones could not be confirmed. Ocoya prints a monthly figure and a yearly toggle, but the yearly number was not shown on the view this read captured, so only the monthly figure is quoted. GlossGenius prints both modes, and both are quoted. Our own ladder is quoted in the only mode we offer (billed monthly) for the same reason.

The ranking rule is tattoo specific. The work is the ad: a sleeve at six weeks, a fresh piece under the ring light, a flash sheet for a walk-in day, a clip of the stencil going on. A generated image of a tattoo that does not exist is worse than the healed photo, so a tool has to work from the studio's real shots, and the list ranks tools on how much of the whole job each one does with them before a studio pays anything: it writes the caption, makes the image and a short video, and publishes the post, on a free plan that does not expire. Then it ranks on the cheapest price at which a tool does that job. Ours is the only entry that does it for nothing, so it sits first. Below it nobody does the whole job for nothing, so the rest keep the order the studio's real work gives them: the three tools that publish what the artists photographed, then the generator whose invented images cannot replace a healed piece, then the two booking platforms, labeled for what they are.

Three jobs divide the list. Scheduling separates the three schedulers from the two generators and the two booking platforms. Writing separates ours and Ocoya from the schedulers, which queue whatever the artist photographed and write little or nothing, though Later adds a small AI credit allowance and Publer's AI assist writes captions on its Business plan after one-time sign-up credits on the free plan. Booking separates GlossGenius and Square, which take the appointment and the deposit, from everything above them, which link out to whatever booking tool sits on the profile.

The query's own results mislead. TattooPro is a parked domain, InkDesk is a sponsored-content marketplace, and Breezit redirects to a wedding and events marketplace, so none of the three is a tattoo tool and none is ranked here. Prices move, so open the links before any of this decides a purchase.

The honest part

Later is the better choice if Instagram is your whole storefront, you are paying anyway and the only missing piece is the queue. It schedules the portfolio for less than our cheapest paid plan, and a studio that already writes its own captions does not need our brand kit to post a healed sleeve. We rank it behind our own free plan because it writes only a small allowance of AI credits and runs on a 14-day trial rather than a free plan, and we are not the cheapest way to a tattoo studio's paid feed.

GlossGenius or Square Appointments is the better choice if your real problem is that a booking still happens over text and a deposit over a payment app. They take the appointment and the money, and we do neither: we post, and the booking link on your profile still points at whatever you use today. And if you already write your own captions, Publer or Metricool queues your phone photos for a few dollars a month.

What we will not claim: no ratings, no customer counts, no trusted-by list, no guarantee that any of this fills a chair. We are the youngest company on this page. What we can say plainly is the rule that put us first, the whole job from the studio's real shots on a free plan that does not expire, with watermarked media, and that Later asks less than we do once you pay while GlossGenius and Square Appointments book the chair we do not, because a list that named neither would be the kind of marketing a tattoo studio owner should skip.
