Sprout Social pricing, read from the source
What Sprout Social costs a small team
Start with the seat price: $79 per seat a month billed annually, or $99 billed monthly. Sprout multiplies that rate by every person on the team, and the full seat math is below, every figure read from sproutsocial.com/pricing on 18 September 2026.
Sprout Social prices per seat, and its entry plan is Essentials at $79 per seat a month billed annually, or $99 per seat a month billed monthly. The three named tiers above it are Standard at $199, Professional at $299 and Advanced at $399 per seat a month billed annually. The month-to-month rates, published on the same page, are Standard $249, Professional $399 and Advanced $499 per seat a month billed monthly. Enterprise is custom-priced on request.
The number that decides a small team's bill is the seat count, because Sprout multiplies by headcount. One person on Standard commits $2,388 for the year at the annual rate; three people commit $7,164. The full seat table is below.

What Sprout charges, tier by tier
Every price above is per seat a month. The first number is the annual-billed rate; the parenthesised number is the month-to-month rate, which costs more per seat. Profiles are the social accounts one workspace can connect.

What a small business actually pays
The monthly column is the annual-billed rate shown per month; the yearly column is the 12-month commitment it locks in. Sprout also publishes month-to-month rates, which cost more per seat and sit in the tier table above.
| Seats | Essentials | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| 1 person | $79 / $948 a year | $199 / $2,388 a year |
| 2 people | $158 / $1,896 a year | $398 / $4,776 a year |
| 3 people | $237 / $2,844 a year | $597 / $7,164 a year |
What the cheapest plan does not include
The Essentials tier is a publishing tool, not a full social suite. Five things a small team usually wants sit on the tiers above it.
No consolidated inbox
The shared inbox and collaboration tools start on Standard, one tier above Essentials.
No review management
Replying to and tracking reviews from inside Sprout starts on Standard.
No keyword or location monitoring
Watching brand keywords and locations starts on Standard; on Essentials the brand-keyword row reads not included.
No message tagging or competitor insights
Both start on Professional, two tiers above Essentials.
No AI Assist, sentiment, API or helpdesk
AI-assisted writing and replies, sentiment scoring, the Sprout API and helpdesk integrations start on Professional and Advanced.
Sprout has a 30-day trial, not a free plan
On the pricing page read for this page, the free offer was "Try Sprout free for 30 days" with no credit card required. When the 30 days end you are asked to pick a plan and enter payment, so the trial is a clock, not a tier.
There is no permanently free plan in the list. Every tier from Essentials up is paid per seat, and Enterprise is custom-priced on request.
Who Sprout fits
The stake first: we build SpeedRun Social, and we are new with very few customers. A price sheet written by a rival is worth reading only when the rival says so before the numbers, so this page names when Sprout is worth its seat price before it names what we charge.
Choose Sprout when
Social is someone's job
If a person or a team answers the internet all day, Sprout's consolidated inbox, review management and per-seat collaboration are the tools they are actually missing. The per-seat bill is a payroll line, not a surprise.
Several people share the accounts
Sprout sells seats because a seat is a person with a login. When three people genuinely split the work, the per-seat price buys real coordination instead of one shared password.
You report social upward
Sentiment, competitor benchmarks and the API sit on Sprout's higher tiers because somebody has to show a chart to a department. If that is your week, the higher tiers earn their keep.
Look at SpeedRun Social when
The posts are not getting made
SpeedRun Social reads your website, builds a Brand Kit and drafts a week of finished posts you approve before anything publishes. That is the step Sprout assumes already happened.
You want a free plan, not a clock
SpeedRun Social keeps a permanent free plan: 300 credits a month refilled forever, one free campaign a week (3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post), no card, watermarked media on free. Nothing expires and no card is asked for, so the plan you evaluate on is the plan you can keep.
You would rather pay per business than per seat
Paid plans are $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month, flat per workspace and not per user, with image and video generation included on every tier.

What does the cheapest Sprout plan include?
Essentials, at $79 per seat a month billed annually, includes up to 5 social profiles, optimal send times, profile and post-level reporting and the Trellis AI assistant. It does not include a consolidated inbox, review management, message tagging, competitor insights or brand keywords; those start on Standard and above.
