Ranked for veterinary clinics

Best social media tools for veterinarians in 2026

Eight tools ranked by the one question a clinic cannot skip, whether a patient photo waits for a checked consent, each priced from the vendor's own page on one named date, by a company that sells one of the eight.

Ours leads this list, and the reason is the approval queue, not a score. It starts free every week: 3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post, plus 300 credits a month refilled forever. No card asked for, and free-plan media carries a small watermark.

Will it post a patient photo before anyone has checked the consent? That question sits in front of the two every clinic asks of social media software: does it write like my trade, and does it post for me? SpeedRun Social, our own product, leads this list because its approval queue answers the consent question.

The stake is stated before the ranking: we build SpeedRun Social, it is entry one of eight, and the reason it sits there is not a score but a workflow, the approval queue that is the only thing here that maps to a consent line. Every figure below was read off the vendor's own page on 15 September 2026.

These eight are not one kind of software. One is a reputation tool that turns finished visits into reviews, three generate the post itself, and four are schedulers that publish whatever your team photographs. Each entry names its kind above its price, so you can skip the rows that answer a different question than the one you asked, and the order below ranks them by whether a patient photo waits for a checked consent before it goes anywhere.

Every priced claim below links to the vendor page it was read from and the date it was read. Where a vendor publishes a monthly price and an annual one, both are quoted.

  1. SpeedRun Social

    our product

    AI content generator

The one that holds a patient photo until the consent is checked

It reads your clinic's website into a brand kit, then writes captions grounded in it, generates the image and cuts a short video around a patient photo whose owner signed the line, and every post waits in an approval queue until someone at the clinic checks the recorded yes and releases it. Disclosure: this is our product and this is our list, and it leads because consent is the one thing a clinic cannot skip.

What it costs at one location
Free plan: 300 credits a month refilled forever, one free campaign a week (3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post), no card, watermarked media on free. Paid plans are $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month billed monthly, or $39.99, $79.99 and $159.99 a month billed annually. speedrunsocial.com/pricing, checked 15 September 2026
    Best for
A clinic whose feed stalls because the tech's camera roll is full of patient photos nobody has cleared, and which wants to watch a real week of its own posts appear before it pays anything.

    Honest limitation

Nothing in it asks a client from last year for a review or watches what they write about you afterward, so the review loop is somebody's job here. Free-plan media carries a watermark, we are the youngest company on this page, and a clinic whose phone should ring after every visit from reviews rather than posts should look at NiceJob first. speedrunsocial.com/pricing, checked 15 September 2026

  2. NiceJob

    Reputation software

Public proof from visits nobody can photograph

Nothing else here turns a finished visit into something a new client can find. Close an appointment and the software asks the owner for a review, then publishes the best ones to your Google listing and your site. A clinic picked off a map search while the pet is still in the car, more than off a feed, gets the most from that loop. It ranks second because a review needs no photo at all, while a post still needs a recorded yes before the phone comes out.

What it costs at one location
Its plan cards listed Starter at $75 a month billed monthly and Pro at $125 a month billed monthly, with no annual rate printed anywhere on the page. A Sites website product was priced separately at $99 a month plus a one-time $199 setup. The page offers a 14-day free trial, states no contracts, and prices an Enterprise tier on request. get.nicejob.com/pricing, checked 15 September 2026
    Best for
A clinic with a real backlog of finished visits that has never systematically asked for a review, where the exam rooms are full but the Google listing is thin.

    Honest limitation

It publishes a review, not a post: the going-home photo still needs a caption and a platform somewhere else, because nothing on its pricing page writes a caption or generates an image, and nothing in it holds a patient photo for a consent check. At $75 a month billed monthly it is also the priciest single entry tier on this list, and a clinic that has never collected a review has little for the software to turn into proof yet. get.nicejob.com/pricing, checked 15 September 2026

  3. Ocoya

    AI content generator

Generated posts for less, if you check the consent yourself

It generates the image and the caption together and schedules them on its cheapest tier, from $29 a month billed monthly, which is less than our cheapest paid plan. What it does not do is know a consent line from an intake form, and its pricing page never mentions Google Business Profile, which matters in a trade where the new client searches the map rather than scrolls.

What it costs at one location
Its plan cards listed Starter at $29 a month billed monthly or $290 a year billed yearly for 1 user, 5 social profiles and 300 credits, Team at $79 a month billed monthly or $790 a year billed yearly for 5 users and 20 profiles, and Agency at $199 a month billed monthly or $1,990 a year billed yearly for 20 users and 100 profiles. Every tier's call to action is a 7-day free trial. ocoya.com/pricing, checked 15 September 2026
    Best for
A clinic that wants generated images and captions for the smallest monthly number, and already has a staff member reading the recorded yes on every patient photo before it ships.

    Honest limitation

There is no free plan, only a 7-day trial, and nothing in it holds a patient photo for a consent check, so a clinic still needs a human to read the recorded yes before any pet appears. Its pricing page never mentions Google Business Profile, which is where a new client with a sick animal actually looks first. ocoya.com/pricing, checked 15 September 2026

  4. Predis.ai

    AI content generator

Most generated media per dollar, if you press publish

It turns a line of text into images, carousels and short video with captions attached, and its cheapest tier buys more generated media than anything else here. The catch is in the tier list, not the headline number, and it is spelled out in the limitation beside this.

What it costs at one location
The page opens on Annually with a 30% off badge. Billed annually, Core read $24 a month, Rise $55 a month and Enterprise+ $212 a month; billed monthly the same three read $32, $79 and $249. Core carries 1,300 credits a month, which the page translates as about 86 images or 9 videos, with 1 brand and no automatic posting. Rise carries 3,200 credits and up to 2 auto posts a day, and Enterprise+ carries 10,000 credits and up to 3 a day. Every plan starts with 7 days free. predis.ai/pricing, checked 15 September 2026
    Best for
A clinic happy to publish by hand, or already paying for a scheduler, that wants a month of clinic graphics for the lowest possible price.

    Honest limitation

The cheapest tier will not post for you: Core lists no automatic posting, and auto posting starts at Rise, $79 a month billed monthly or $55 a month billed annually. The page shows no permanent free plan, only 7 free days, and nothing in it knows a consent line from an intake form, so a clinic still needs a human to check the recorded yes before a patient photo ships. predis.ai/pricing, checked 15 September 2026

  5. Publer

    Scheduler

The cheapest queue, and it posts to Google

A scheduler priced per social account rather than per seat, which suits a clinic running one Facebook page and a Google listing. Its plans page names Google Business among the things it publishes, so a going-home photo with a recorded yes can go to the profile a new client reaches through a local search rather than only to a feed.

What it costs at one location
Its plans page prints both billing modes inside the same card. Professional read $5.00 a month billed monthly or $4.00 a month billed yearly, and Business read $10.00 a month billed monthly or $8.00 a month billed yearly, with a 7-day and a 14-day trial respectively. A free forever tier is listed at $0.00 with 1 user, 3 social accounts excluding X, 10 scheduled posts per account and 24-hour post history. The page names Google Business among the things it publishes. publer.com/plans, checked 15 September 2026
    Best for
A clinic whose team does photograph the going-home moment, and which wants the queue handled for a few dollars a month instead of posted at nine at night.

    Honest limitation

It generates no images and no video and writes no caption, so a patient photo with a recorded yes still needs its words written somewhere else, and nothing in it holds a post for a consent check. Pricing is per social account, and the page notes that for every 9 accounts the 10th is free, a scale a single-location clinic reaches only if it runs several branded profiles. publer.com/plans, checked 15 September 2026

  6. Buffer

    Scheduler

A queue with an approval step on its Team plan

A calendar, a queue and, on the Team plan, an approval workflow that lets a second person sign off before a post ships. For a clinic whose only real problem is that posting is manual, this is the shortest distance from a camera roll to a schedule, and its free tier can carry a single location indefinitely without ever becoming a bill.

What it costs at one location
Its page printed both billing modes. Essentials read $6 a month billed monthly for one channel, or $5 a month billed yearly as $60 a year; Team read $12 a month billed monthly, or $10 a month billed yearly as $120 a year. The free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel, and Google Business Profile is one of the channels listed. Content approval workflows sit on the Team plan only. buffer.com/pricing, checked 15 September 2026
    Best for
A clinic whose team already photographs the going-home moment and wants the queue handled, plus a second pair of eyes on posts, without learning a second piece of software this year.

    Honest limitation

It creates no images or video and writes no caption, so somebody at the clinic still has to photograph the patient with a recorded yes and draft the words. The approval workflow that would let a second person check a post is on the Team plan only, at $12 a month billed monthly or $10 a month billed yearly, and billing is per channel, so a second location's page is a second bill. buffer.com/pricing, checked 15 September 2026

  7. Post Planner

    Scheduler

Scheduling with a Google Business hook and a light AI writer

A scheduler with a Google Business Scheduler named on its own feature list and a light AI Post Creator that drafts a caption and generates a few images per plan. For a clinic it is a queue first and a writer second, and the writer knows nothing of your clinic or its consent line, so the recorded yes still has to be checked by a person.

What it costs at one location
Its plans page prints both billing modes. Starter read $14 a month billed monthly or $9 a month billed annually ($108 a year), Growth read $59 a month billed monthly or $39 a month billed annually, Business read $99 a month billed monthly or $69 a month billed annually, and Agency read $179 a month billed monthly or $119 a month billed annually. A free tier is listed at $0 with 1 social account, 10 scheduled posts, 3 daily posts per profile and 1 AI image. The page names a Google Business Scheduler and an AI Post Creator, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. postplanner.com/plans-signup, checked 15 September 2026
    Best for
A clinic that wants Google Business posts scheduled on the cheap and is fine with the caption being a draft someone on staff has to read and fix.

    Honest limitation

Its AI Post Creator writes a caption but does not know your clinic or its consent line, and the AI images are capped per plan, at 1 on the free tier, so a clinic still needs a human to read the recorded yes and fix a name before a patient photo ships. The scheduler posts on time, but nothing in it holds a post back for a second person to check. postplanner.com/plans-signup, checked 15 September 2026

  8. Metricool

    Scheduler and analytics

Scheduling plus the numbers, and Google in the list

A scheduler with analytics and competitor tracking attached, and Google Business Profile named on the pricing page itself. A clinic that wants to know whether posting moves anything, rather than only that it happened, is paying for the reporting half as much as the publishing half.

What it costs at one location
Its plans page prints both billing ladders and carries a save up to 24% annual label. The dearer ladder, billed monthly, listed Starter from $25 a month for 5 brands, and Advanced from $67 a month for 15 brands up to $210 for 50. The cheaper ladder, billed annually, listed the same tiers at $20 a month and then $53 up to $159. A free tier is listed at $0 covering 1 brand, every network except LinkedIn and X, up to 20 scheduled posts a month and 30 days of analytics. metricool.com/pricing, checked 15 September 2026
    Best for
A practice large enough to care whether the posts move anything, with somebody willing to read a monthly report.

    Honest limitation

It makes no images or video and writes no caption either, and its entry ladder starts at five brands, which is four more than a single clinic usually has, so the cheapest paid tier is priced for an agency and sold to one location at the same number. The free tier caps scheduling at 20 posts a month, and nothing in it holds a patient photo for a consent check. metricool.com/pricing, checked 15 September 2026

How this list was ranked

The stake first: we build SpeedRun Social, it is entry one of eight, and this page ranks it first for a reason a clinic cannot skip. A vendor's roundup earns a veterinarian's time only when the stake is stated before the ranking rather than under it, so it is said here.

Every figure on this page was read off the vendor's own pricing page on 15 September 2026 in a real browser, and the address bar was checked against the address requested before a single number was written down. Nothing was restated from a review site, another roundup or an assistant's answer. Several figures moved since our sibling lists were written, so none of those older numbers were reused.

Billing modes are named wherever a price appears. NiceJob publishes a monthly figure only, and its entry says no annual rate is printed. Ocoya, Predis.ai, Publer, Buffer, Post Planner and Metricool print a monthly and an annual figure, and both are quoted. Our own ladder is quoted in both modes for the same reason.

The ranking rule is clinic specific. The binding constraint in a veterinary practice is consent, not material: every exam room produces a photo an owner would love, and most of them cannot be posted, because a patient photo is a clinical record until the recorded yes makes it marketing. So the order runs on whether a patient photo waits for a checked consent before it goes anywhere, whether the tool writes like the trade and posts for you, and then what the cheapest plan that does it costs at one location. That is why a generator with an approval queue leads this list, why a review tool sits second, and why the schedulers follow.

The questions the page opens with cut the list in half. Will it post a patient photo before anyone has checked the consent separates the one tool with an approval queue from the rest, and Buffer's Team plan from its own cheaper tiers. Does it write like my trade separates the three generators from the schedulers, which publish whatever your team photographs but write nothing. Does it post for me separates NiceJob, which publishes reviews on its own, from a scheduler that still needs a human to queue the photo.

No stars, no scores, no customer counts, ours least of all. Every claim links to the page it came from with the date it was read. Prices move, so open the links before any of this decides a purchase.

The honest part

NiceJob is the better choice if your real problem is that finished visits never turn into anything a new client can find. It asks for the review and publishes it without a photo of anything. We do not chase reviews at all, and a clinic whose phone should ring after every visit should start there, not here.

Ocoya and Predis.ai are the better choice if you want generated images and captions for less money than ours and you are comfortable reading the consent check yourself. Our approval queue exists precisely because a patient photo is a clinical record until someone checks the recorded yes, and a clinic with a staff member already doing that read may not need to pay us to be the safety rail.

What we will not claim: no ratings, no customer counts, no trusted-by list, no guarantee that any of this fills the appointment book. We are the youngest company on this page. The one thing we can say plainly is that this list hands the review job to a rival and tells you which rivals beat us on price, because a list that did neither would be the kind of marketing a clinic owner should skip.

Questions veterinary clinic owners ask about this list

  • What is the best social media tool for a veterinary clinic?

SpeedRun Social, our own product, for a clinic whose feed stalls because nobody has cleared the patient photos: it writes the caption, generates the image and cuts a short video around a photo whose owner signed the line, and it holds every post in an approval queue until someone checks the recorded yes. If reviews are the problem rather than posts, start with NiceJob, which asks every finished visit for a review and publishes the best ones to your Google page. A clinic that already photographs the going-home moment and only needs it queued should look at Publer or Buffer first.

  • Which of these writes captions a veterinary clinic can actually post?

Three generate the words: SpeedRun Social, Ocoya and Predis.ai. SpeedRun Social grounds each caption in your brand kit and holds every post for approval, which is where the recorded yes gets checked; that is our product and this is our list. Ocoya and Predis.ai generate captions but leave the consent read to you. Post Planner's AI Post Creator drafts a caption but knows nothing of your clinic or its consent line, and Publer, Buffer, Metricool and NiceJob write no captions at all.

  • Do any of these hold a post until I check the consent?

Ours is the one that has it: every post waits in an approval queue, free accounts included, so a photo without a recorded yes can be pulled before it goes anywhere. Buffer puts approval workflows on its Team plan only. The rest do not: NiceJob publishes reviews on its own, and the schedulers publish on the schedule you set, so the consent check stays a person's job in front of the keyboard rather than inside the tool.

  • Do any of these post to my Google Business Profile?

This matters more for a clinic than for most trades, because a new client picks a vet off the map listing while the pet is still in the car. On the pages read on 15 September 2026, Publer named Google Business among the things it publishes, Buffer listed Google Business Profile as one of its channels, Post Planner named a Google Business Scheduler, Metricool named Google Business Profile on its pricing page, and ours publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, and WordPress. Ocoya's pricing page did not mention Google Business at all, and Predis.ai's did not either. Check the vendor's own integrations page before buying on this point, because a pricing page is not an integration list.

  • Is there a free social media tool for veterinarians?

Five on this list keep permanent free plans rather than countdowns. Publer's is free forever with 3 social accounts and 10 scheduled posts per account. Buffer's covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel. Metricool's covers 1 brand and up to 20 scheduled posts a month. Post Planner's is free with 1 social account and 10 scheduled posts. Ours is 300 credits a month refilled forever, one free campaign a week (3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post), no card, watermarked media on free. NiceJob runs a 14-day trial, and Ocoya and Predis.ai run 7-day ones.

  • What is the cheapest social media tool for a veterinary clinic?

On the pages read on 15 September 2026, the cheapest paid plan of any kind was Publer Professional at $5.00 a month billed monthly or $4.00 billed yearly for one social account, followed by Buffer Essentials at $6 a month billed monthly or $5 a month billed yearly. The cheapest way to have the pictures made for you was Ocoya Starter at $29 a month billed monthly. Five tools on this list keep a permanent free tier: Publer, Buffer, Metricool, Post Planner and ours.

  • Why does an AI content generator rank above the review tools?

Because of how a clinic actually gets chosen, and what stops it from posting. A new client searches the map and reads reviews, which is why a review tool matters, but the reason a clinic feed goes quiet is not a lack of material, it is consent: every exam room produces a photo an owner would love, and most of them cannot be posted. A patient photo is a clinical record until the recorded yes makes it marketing, and the one feature that maps to that line is an approval queue. Our own product has that queue, which is why it leads under this page's rule, and it is our rule.

  • How much should a veterinary clinic budget for this?

Budget roughly $5 to $75 a month for the marketing half of a clinic's software, on the figures read on 15 September 2026. The floor is Publer Professional at $5.00 a month billed monthly, and NiceJob sits at the top of that range at $75 a month billed monthly. Our own Starter plan lands in between at $49.99 a month billed monthly or $39.99 a month billed annually. Ocoya's cheap tier starts at $29 a month billed monthly for the parts it does, and Metricool prices for an agency rather than a single location.

Try it on your own clinic

The free plans and trials above exist so a clinic can put one real week through two tools and compare what comes out. Ours is the entry with no countdown on it, and every post waits for the recorded yes to be checked before it publishes.

Every vendor figure on this page was read on 15 September 2026. Prices move; the links exist so you can check theirs and ours.
