Comparison
Postly bills by the channel. SpeedRun bills for the making.
SpeedRun Social generates the week from your website, media included, and publishes after one approval on a flat plan. Before comparing features, decide which number you expect to grow: your channel count, or your need for finished posts.
Two meters, two different bills
Postly's meter counts places: a 5 channel minimum at $20.00 a month billed monthly, $16.00 billed yearly, then, on the yearly rate as read 21 August 2026, $3.20 a channel through ten, $1.60 through a hundred, $0.80 beyond. The same campaign can land on Instagram, a Telegram channel, a WordPress blog and an email list, which is genuine width. The words and images that fill all those places stay your responsibility unless you add AI Studio at $30.00 a month billed monthly, $24.00 billed yearly.
SpeedRun's meter counts work. $49.99 flat on Starter buys the week generated from your website, three image posts, a short video and a cross-post, captions per platform, publishing behind one approval. Add a channel and the bill holds still, because channels were never what the money bought.
Run both meters against your own situation. A wide roster with its own content supply rides Postly's declining bands well. One business that needs the posts to exist pays our flat rate for the existence.
The same week, run two ways
Width against depth: the same week, run through each meter.
A week inside Postly
The workspace hands you a campaign pipeline that runs wider than social: the same post can go to Instagram, a Telegram channel, a WordPress blog and an email list, and the bill is the arithmetic of your roster. Five channels cost $20.00 a month billed monthly, $16.00 billed yearly; each channel after that adds its band rate. The machinery assumes the campaign already exists in your head, and unless you switch on the AI Studio add-on, the words and the images that fill the pipeline are yours to bring.
A week inside SpeedRun
Depth first: the campaign generates before you think about destinations. Three image posts, one short video, one cross-post, drawn from the Brand Kit your website produced, each caption fitted to its platform. You judge the five pieces in one review pass and native publishing carries them out on schedule. Nine platforms is the whole roster, and the bill would read the same if you used three of them.

Every Postly number below was read off postly.ai on 21 August 2026 (prices re-read 31 August 2026) and links to its source.
| What to compare | SpeedRun Social | Postly |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan, or a trial | A free plan, not a trial: one free campaign every week of 3 image posts, 1 short video and 1 cross-post, with the Brand Kit included and 300 credits a month that refill for as long as the account exists. No card is asked for. Media made on the free plan carries a small watermark that paid plans remove. | The pricing page offered a 7-day Free Trial, and no permanent free plan was visible on it.Source: postly.ai/pricing, read 21 August 2026 (prices re-read 31 August 2026) |
| What the meter counts | The making, never the roster: $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month flat, tiers differing by credit grant, another connected platform costing nothing. | Re-read 31 August 2026, the Pro plan was priced per channel with a 5 channel minimum: billed monthly it read $20.00 a month, $4.00 a channel effective, and billed yearly, the page's default, it read $16.00 a month, $3.20 a channel effective, charged as $192.00 a year. Read 21 August 2026, the per-channel rate was tiered, with earlier channels keeping their rate: $3.20 a channel a month for channels 1 to 10, $1.60 for channels 11 to 100, and $0.80 for channels 101 and up.Source: postly.ai/pricing, read 21 August 2026 (prices re-read 31 August 2026) |
| Where the AI sits | Generation is the base product. Captions, images and the short video come out of every plan, the free one included; there is no separate AI add-on to switch on. | An add-on named AI Studio was listed at $30.00 a month billed monthly and $24.00 a month billed yearly (re-read 31 August 2026, both modes via the page's billing toggle), described on 21 August 2026 with unlimited AI text tokens under fair usage, 50 AI images and 120 seconds of video per stack; a "Custom Telegram Bot" add-on was listed at $7.20 a month on 21 August 2026.Source: postly.ai/pricing, read 21 August 2026 (prices re-read 31 August 2026) |
| The channel roster | Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business Profile and Mailchimp. Postly's list runs wider, blogs and chat apps included, and the concessions below treat that width as theirs. | Postly's home page title read "AI Social Media & Blog Scheduler, CRM and Bio Pages", its headline read "The complete social campaign platform", and its distribution list named X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Threads, Telegram, Discord and WhatsApp alongside blog targets such as WordPress, Ghost and Blogger and email services such as Mailchimp and Brevo.Source: postly.ai, read 21 August 2026 (prices re-read 31 August 2026) |
The per-channel bands are the figures to reverify first, because your exact Postly bill is arithmetic on them. Note the domain while you are there: usepostly.com now redirects permanently to postly.ai. The headline prices above were re-read on 31 August 2026; the band rates date to 21 August 2026.
When SpeedRun wins
The content is the bottleneck, and AI is extra there
Postly prices generation as AI Studio, $30.00 a month billed monthly ($24.00 billed yearly) on top of the plan, with caps of 50 AI images and 120 seconds of video per stack. Here generation is the product: every tier, free included, ships captions, images and video with no second line item.
Your roster is small and normal
A local business posting to Facebook, Instagram and Google Business gets no value from bands that reward channel one hundred and one. The flat plan covers the mainstream nine, and the pricing question ends there.
You want the tool judged before the card comes out
Their evaluation is a 7-day trial. Ours is a free plan that keeps generating a weekly campaign, watermarked, card never requested, until you have seen enough real weeks to decide.
Who SpeedRun is not for
SpeedRun does one narrow job. If any of these describe your week, we would rather tell you now than lose you two weeks in.
A big roster of channels you fill yourself
Past ten channels their meter drops to $1.60 a channel, and past a hundred to $0.80. An operation publishing one campaign across dozens of accounts, with its own content supply, gets a curve from Postly that our flat tiers never match, and it should take that curve.
Publishing beyond social feeds
Their distribution list reaches Bluesky, Threads, Telegram, Discord and WhatsApp, plus blog platforms and email services. SpeedRun publishes to nine platforms, Mailchimp included, and stops there. A campaign that must land on a blog and in a chat app in the same click is Postly's home ground.
A branded Telegram bot
Postly sells a Custom Telegram Bot at $7.20 a month. We build nothing like it. If a bot under your own name inside Telegram matters to your audience, that is a feature decision, and it points at them.
Enterprise governance requirements
SSO, SCIM provisioning and SIEM event streaming were all on their enterprise menu the day we checked, priced per connection. SpeedRun ships none of those controls. A company whose security team requires them has its answer before feature comparison even starts.
Who should pick which
Four buyers, one sentence each. Some of these verdicts go to Postly.
The media company syndicating to forty channels and a blog
Postly. Declining per-channel bands and blog targets are priced for exactly that operation.
The dentist with three platforms and no content
SpeedRun. The week generates from the practice's website; the roster never mattered.
The community that lives in Telegram and Discord
Postly. Both are on their distribution list and neither is on ours.
The owner comparing total monthly cost with AI included
Run the numbers below; the two bills land closer than either pitch suggests.
What switching actually costs
A Postly exit is mostly a calendar exercise. The $192.00 yearly Pro billing is the one real anchor, so check the renewal date before anything else; monthly billers can let the current cycle lapse and go. Whatever sits scheduled in the pipeline should fire from there, and any blog or chat-app destinations you used have no receiving end here, so those distributions need a new home or a deliberate goodbye.
Arrival is lighter than the departure: the social accounts reconnect with the platforms' own OAuth screens, the site becomes a Brand Kit, and the first generated campaign is ready for review the day you connect. The habit that changes is assembling campaigns; here you read finished ones instead.
Pricing philosophy
Price the like-for-like week, both sides billed monthly: Postly's 5 channel minimum at $20.00 plus AI Studio at $30.00 is $50.00 a month for a small roster with generation switched on. Our Starter is $49.99, a cent under their stack, with the generation native rather than stacked and no image or video caps to size.
Past that point the models diverge by design: their bill grows with every channel you add, ours grows only if you want more generated. Match the meter to the thing you expect to grow.
Our side is short: $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month, every price published, and the pricing page is the canonical list.
Questions people ask on the way in
Postly bundles a CRM and Bio Pages. What does SpeedRun bundle?
Nothing beyond the pipeline. SpeedRun generates, queues and publishes the week's posts, and that is the entire product. Postly positions itself as a complete campaign platform with a CRM, Bio Pages and chat distribution attached. One login for all of that is their pitch; if those extras would sit unused, they are surface you are paying to ignore.
Is Postly's AI included in its plan price?
Not on the page we read. AI Studio was a separate add-on at $30.00 a month with stated caps of 50 AI images and 120 seconds of video per stack. SpeedRun's generation has no separate switch: the plan credits are the generation, on free and paid tiers alike.
Which meter costs less for one small business?
With generation on both sides and monthly billing on both sides, their $20.00 minimum plus $30.00 AI Studio meets our $49.99 Starter at practically the same price, a cent apart, so the deciding factor is purely what each buys: capped add-on generation on a channel meter, or native generation on a flat plan. Wide rosters change the answer fast, in their favour.
Why do some links say usepostly.com and this page says postly.ai?
Because the old domain forwards: usepostly.com answered with a permanent redirect to postly.ai when we checked on 21 August 2026 (prices re-read 31 August 2026). Every source link here uses the live domain, and the live pricing page is the reference the day you decide.
What does the SpeedRun Social free plan include?
300 credits a month, refilled forever, and 1 free campaign a week: 3 posts, 1 video and 1 cross-post. No card is required. Media made on the free plan is watermarked; paid plans remove the watermark.

Meter the week, both ways
Generate a free week here, cost your roster on their bands there, and put the two bills side by side with the content counted. The arithmetic finishes the argument.
