Comparison
RecurPost replays your best work. SpeedRun writes your next week.
SpeedRun Social generates each week new from your website, media included, behind one approval. RecurPost circulates an archive you built. The deciding inventory: how many posts do you own that still deserve airtime?
An archive has to be earned
RecurPost's engine is the recurring content library: sort your approved posts into libraries, attach libraries to time slots, and evergreen material stays in circulation while you sleep. At $9 a month for two accounts, $7.50 billed yearly, it is one of the cheapest entries anywhere, and per-unit add-ons ($4 a month per extra account, $20 per teammate on the 31 August 2026 read) size the machine to your roster.
The engine's fuel is the catch. A library recycles only what someone once wrote, so the archive is a prerequisite, and building one is weeks of work the pricing page never mentions. SpeedRun starts at the other end: the Brand Kit comes from your website, and this week's three posts, video and cross-post generate new, $49.99 flat with the generation included.
The clean way to choose: count the posts you own that still deserve airtime. Dozens of proven winners, and their recycler multiplies your past work. A thin folder and a quiet feed, and there is nothing to recycle yet; generation is how the archive starts existing.
The same week, run two ways
A librarian's week and an editor's week, side by side.
A week inside RecurPost
The machine runs on your archive. You have sorted your best posts into content libraries, attached each library to recurring time slots, and the scheduler re-queues approved evergreen posts on rotation. When it works, the feed hums along on work you did months ago. The catch sits upstream: a library only recycles what someone once wrote, so the weeks you spend building and refreshing that archive are the real price of the automation, and a thin library shows quickly.
A week inside SpeedRun
There is no archive to maintain, because the week is written new each time. From your Brand Kit come three image posts, a short video and a cross-post, sitting in the approval queue by the time you look. You spend minutes judging, not hours librarian-ing. The trade runs the other way too: a recycler can resurface a proven winner on schedule, and a generator cannot promise that this week's fresh post beats last quarter's best one.

| What to compare | SpeedRun Social | RecurPost |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan, or a trial | A free plan, not a trial: one free campaign every week of 3 image posts, 1 short video and 1 cross-post, with the Brand Kit included and 300 credits a month that refill for as long as the account exists. No card is asked for. Media made on the free plan carries a small watermark that paid plans remove. | The pricing page offered a "14-day free trial" with "No credit card" required and a "30-day money-back guarantee" on paid plans, and no permanent free plan appeared on it.Source: recurpost.com/pricing, read 21 August 2026 (prices re-read 31 August 2026) |
| Where this week's posts come from | Generated fresh: SpeedRun reads your website into a Brand Kit and writes this week's captions, images and video from it, so the feed moves even when the library is empty. Nothing publishes until you approve it. | RecurPost's home page described the product as "a social media management tool and scheduler for agencies, freelancers, and teams managing multiple accounts", named "Recurring content libraries" as a capability, and stated that "Approved evergreen posts stay in circulation".Source: recurpost.com, read 21 August 2026 (prices re-read 31 August 2026) |
| Paid ladder | $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month ($39.99, $79.99 and $159.99 billed annually), no add-on menu underneath. | Re-read 31 August 2026, Starter was listed at $9 a month billed monthly or $7.50 a month billed yearly ($90 billed annually), with 2 social accounts; Personal at $25 or $20.83 ($250 billed annually), with 5 social accounts; Agency at $79 or $65.83 ($790 billed annually), with 20 social accounts; and an Enterprise tier at custom pricing, "For 100+ accounts or custom terms". Read 21 August 2026, Starter was described "For an individual running their own workflow on two social accounts" with 1 user, Personal "For a small business or freelancer managing up to five social accounts" with 1 user, and Agency "For agencies and teams running many client accounts with approvals" with 3 users.Source: recurpost.com/pricing, read 21 August 2026 (prices re-read 31 August 2026) |
| What the AI costs | Included in every tier. The credits each plan grants are spent on generation itself; there is no separate block of AI posts or AI images to buy. | On 21 August 2026, add-ons were listed per unit: extra social profiles at $4 a month each, team members at $20 a month each, shareable calendars at $10 a month per block of 10, recurring time slots at $20 a month per block adding 10 daily slots, RSS feeds at $10 a month per feed, AI posts at $10 a month per block of 200, AI images at $10 a month per block of 200, and a "Boost with ads" line at $5 a month. Re-read 31 August 2026, the page still offered extra accounts at $4 a month and teammates at $20 a month, and the calendar, slot, RSS, AI-block and ads lines no longer printed.Source: recurpost.com/pricing, read 21 August 2026 (prices re-read 31 August 2026) |
Plan names are the trap on this one: an earlier draft attached them to the wrong prices, and the live page read $9 Starter, $25 Personal, $79 Agency, with $7.50, $20.83 and $65.83 as the yearly column when re-read on 31 August 2026. The add-on menu also shrank between our two reads, so recheck recurpost.com/plans-and-pricing/ before quoting anyone.
When SpeedRun wins
There is no archive, and there will not be one
A recycler with an empty library is a scheduler with extra steps. Generation removes the prerequisite: the first campaign builds from the website the day you connect it, and the archive accumulates as a side effect of publishing.
Repetition would hurt the brand
A restaurant's specials, a salon's seasonal work, a contractor's current jobs: some feeds must show this week, and a re-run gives the game away. Fresh generation keeps the feed current by construction.
The add-on menu is the bill you cannot predict
Their AI posts and AI images were sold at $10 a month per block of 200 when we read the page on 21 August 2026; by the 31 August 2026 re-read those lines had left the page. Our flat tiers put generation inside the plan price, so the number on the pricing page is the number on the invoice.
Who SpeedRun is not for
SpeedRun does one narrow job. If any of these describe your week, we would rather tell you now than lose you two weeks in.
A proven library worth re-queueing
Recycling is what RecurPost is for, and we do not build it. Months of posts that already earned their keep, circulating on recurring slots, is a sound strategy served by purpose-built machinery, and the concession is the same one our SocialBee page makes.
The lowest possible monthly bill
Starter at $9 a month, or $7.50 billed yearly, undercuts every tier we sell by a wide margin. A solo operator with two accounts who writes their own posts has no financial reason to pay $49.99 for generation they will not use.
Agencies juggling client approvals
Their $79 Agency tier lists 20 social accounts, 3 users and client approval workflows. SpeedRun is one business approving its own week, with no client-by-client routing, so an agency desk maps onto their tier and not onto anything we sell.
RSS-fed curation
RecurPost's page sold RSS feeds as a $10-a-month add-on when we read it on 21 August 2026, pulling outside content into the queue; the line was gone when re-read on 31 August 2026, so confirm it on their live menu. We generate from your own brand and ingest no feeds either way, so a strategy built on sharing curated industry links needs their plumbing, not ours.
Who should pick which
Four buyers, one sentence each. Some of these verdicts go to RecurPost.
The coach with two years of tips worth repeating
RecurPost. That archive is an asset, and recurring libraries are built to work it.
The roofer whose feed should show this month's jobs
SpeedRun. Current work needs current posts, and the generator makes them weekly.
The freelancer at $9 a month with time to write
RecurPost. Nothing on our ladder competes with that number for a self-supplied feed.
The owner starting from an empty content folder
SpeedRun. Recycling needs a past; generation only needs the website you already have.
What switching actually costs
The libraries are the leaving cost. Content libraries and their slot schedules are RecurPost's native structures, and nothing here receives them; whatever the libraries hold worth keeping should be exported to files before the account closes. The 30-day money-back guarantee on their paid plans softens a recent purchase, and monthly billing means no long tail otherwise.
On arrival the archive question inverts: instead of feeding a library, you accumulate one. Generated posts you approve are yours to download and reuse anywhere, so six months here rebuilds the kind of asset a recycler wants, except this time the writing was not your evenings.
Pricing philosophy
Build their bill as their page priced it on 21 August 2026, AI included: $9 Starter plus a $10 block of AI posts plus a $10 block of AI images came to $29 a month, $20.99 under our $49.99 Starter. The 31 August 2026 re-read no longer printed those AI lines at all, so price the stack on their live page before treating the gap as real.
Their model prices each capability separately because the recycler is the centre and AI is a garnish. Ours prices one number because generation is the centre and there is nothing else on the menu.
Our side is short: $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month, every price published, and the pricing page is the canonical list.
Questions people ask on the way in
What is the real difference between recycling and regenerating?
A recycler repeats your best work on a schedule; a generator produces new work on a schedule. Recycling needs an archive and rewards one, which suits a business with years of posts. Regeneration needs only a website and a brand, which suits a business starting from silence. The failure modes differ the same way: a recycler gets repetitive when the library is thin, a generator needs your approval eye to keep the facts straight.
RecurPost sells AI posts and AI images as add-ons. How is that different?
On the menu their page printed on 21 August 2026, AI posts and AI images each cost $10 a month per block of 200, stacked on a base plan built around scheduling; the 31 August 2026 re-read no longer showed those lines. In SpeedRun the generation is the base product: every plan's credits are spent making captions, images and video, and there is no separate AI line item. They priced AI as an extra because their core is the recycler; we price it as the core because making posts is the whole point here.
Can my old RecurPost library posts be reused in SpeedRun?
Manually, yes: export them from RecurPost and paste any caption into a generated post you are editing, or publish them yourself alongside the generated weeks. There is no library import and no recycling schedule to receive them, so the archive becomes reference material rather than an engine.
Which of these numbers should be reverified first?
The add-on menu: between our 21 August and 31 August 2026 reads, the calendar, slot, RSS, AI-block and ads lines left the page while accounts at $4 and teammates at $20 stayed. The plan column held steady, $9 Starter, $25 Personal, $79 Agency, re-read at recurpost.com/plans-and-pricing/, where the old /pricing address now redirects. Every figure links to its page; read the live one before repeating any of this.
What does the SpeedRun Social free plan include?
300 credits a month, refilled forever, and 1 free campaign a week: 3 posts, 1 video and 1 cross-post. No card is required. Media made on the free plan is watermarked; paid plans remove the watermark.
