Ranked for pool service companies

Best social media tools for pool service in 2026

Seven tools ranked by how much of the week survives when the pool turns green and the before photo never gets taken, with every price read from the vendor's own page on one named date by a company that sells one of them and says so before the ranking.

Ours is entry three, not entry one. It starts free every week: 3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post, plus 300 credits a month refilled forever. No card asked for, and free-plan media carries a small watermark.

On the fourth stop of a July morning the pool is green, the owner is at work, and the before photo never gets taken. ContentStudio covers that week for the least money: it writes the caption, generates the image, cuts a short video and posts all three, at $19 a month billed annually or $29 a month billed monthly (contentstudio.io/pricing, read 15 September 2026).

SpeedRun Social, our own product, sits third. It reads your website into a brand kit, turns the photos your tech did manage to take into posts and short video, and its free weekly campaign starts with no card, but its cheapest paid plan costs more than the two entries above it, and this page says so before the ranking. The other four follow below, priced from each company's own page on 15 September 2026, and the rule that produced the order is spelled out under them.

The seven tools, ranked by how much they cover

Every priced claim below links to the vendor page it was read from and the date it was read. Where a vendor publishes a monthly price and an annual one, both are quoted, because several of these pages open with the annual figure already chosen for you.

  1. ContentStudio

Produces the photo and the words, then posts them

Cheapest plan that makes the caption, the image, the video and the post

It writes the caption, generates the image and cuts a short video in the same tool, then posts all three, and it does that on the cheapest plan of the three that manage the whole job. For a pool company whose marketing budget is whatever is left after chemicals and fuel, that full week for the least money is the reason it opens this list.

    What it costs
Its plan cards open on the yearly figures, with a Yearly control promising up to 34% off. Standard read $19 a month billed annually, printed as $228 billed yearly, or $29 a month billed monthly, for 5 social accounts, 1 user and 1 workspace. Advanced read $49 a month billed annually or $69 a month billed monthly, and Agency Unlimited read $99 a month billed annually or $139 a month billed monthly. Standard carries 25,000 AI text credits, 25 AI image credits and 100 AI video credits, and its feature list names AI Studio for text, image and video alongside unlimited social posting and Google Business among the networks it can reach. There is a 7-day free trial with no card required, and the page says there is no free forever plan. contentstudio.io/pricing, read 15 September 2026
    Best for
A one or two truck shop that has never posted consistently and wants the caption, the image, the video and the posting handled for the smallest monthly number among the tools that do all four.

    Honest limitation

There is no free plan, only a 7-day trial, which is a thin window in a trade where a fortnight can pass between one photogenic pool and the next. The monthly-billed Standard figure is buried in its FAQ rather than printed on the plan card, so a shopper who never opens the questions sees only the yearly number. Standard is one user and one workspace, so a company that wants an owner and a tech posting from separate seats pays for Advanced instead. contentstudio.io/pricing, read 15 September 2026

  2. Ocoya

Produces the photo and the words, then posts them

Image and caption together, with no free plan to try it

Caption, image and post all come out of one tool on the cheapest plan it sells, with publishing included rather than held back for a dearer tier. It sits second because its monthly price is the same as ContentStudio's but its yearly figures are printed as one-year totals rather than a monthly rate, and it keeps no free plan to run a week without paying.

    What it costs
Its plan cards read Starter at $29 a month billed monthly for 1 user, 5 social profiles and 300 credits, Team at $79 a month billed monthly for 5 users, 20 profiles and 1,500 credits, and Agency at $199 a month billed monthly for 20 users, 100 profiles and 5,000 credits. A Yearly control promising two months free changed the same three to $290, $790 and $1,990 a year billed yearly. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and there is no free plan. ocoya.com/pricing, read 15 September 2026
    Best for
A pool company that is happy to start paying in week one and wants the caption and the image made together and posted, without a free plan to fall back on.

    Honest limitation

There is no free plan, only a 7-day trial, and its Starter tier is one user, so a company that wants an owner and a tech posting from separate seats pays for Team instead. The yearly figures are printed as one-year totals rather than a monthly-equivalent, so a shopper comparing it against our monthly price has to do the division first. ocoya.com/pricing, read 15 September 2026

  3. SpeedRun Social

    our product

Produces the photo and the words, then posts them

Same coverage plus a week that costs nothing, at a higher price

It turns the website you already have into a brand kit, then makes the captions, the images and the short video as a set and parks them in an approval queue until you let them go. Disclosure: this is our product, on our own list, and ContentStudio and Ocoya are ranked above it because both cover the same weekly job for less money.

    What it costs
Free plan: 300 credits a month refilled forever, one free campaign a week (3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post), no card, watermarked media on free. Paid plans are $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month billed monthly, or $39.99, $79.99 and $159.99 a month billed annually. speedrunsocial.com/pricing, read 15 September 2026
    Best for
A pool company that wants to watch a full week of its own posts appear before paying for anything, and that wants video rather than stills alone, with every post waiting for approval until it turns that off.

    Honest limitation

Our cheapest paid plan costs more than ContentStudio's and Ocoya's, media generated on the free plan carries a watermark, and there is no shared inbox and no review monitoring, so the message from a customer whose pool turned green still arrives wherever it arrives now. We are the youngest product here by some margin, with a customer list you could read out in a minute, and a pool company that wants software that has already survived a few summers has a fair reason to start elsewhere. speedrunsocial.com/pricing, read 15 September 2026

  4. Predis.ai

Produces the photo, and only the dearer tiers post it

Most generated media per dollar, if you press publish

One line of text becomes images, carousels and short video with captions already on them, and its entry tier buys more generated media than any other tool on this page. The snag is not the advertised price but which tier actually posts, and the limitation beside this says so.

    What it costs
The page opens on Annually with a 30% off badge. Billed annually, Core read $24 a month printed as $288 billed yearly, Rise $55 a month printed as $664 billed yearly, and Enterprise+ $212 a month printed as $2,540 billed yearly. Switching to Monthly changed the same three to $32, $79 and $249 a month billed monthly. Core carries 1,300 credits a month, which the page translates as roughly 86 images or 9 videos, and is marked No Auto Posting, so automatic publishing starts at Rise. predis.ai/pricing, read 15 September 2026
    Best for
A pool company that is happy to post by hand, or already pays for a scheduler, and wants a month of pool graphics and short video for the lowest possible price.

    Honest limitation

The cheapest tier will not post for you. Core is marked No Auto Posting with 1 brand, so automatic publishing starts at Rise, which is $79 a month billed monthly or $55 a month billed annually. The page also says every plan starts with 7 days free but takes a card to start the trial and charges it when day 7 ends, so this is a trial with a card, not a free plan. predis.ai/pricing, read 15 September 2026

  5. Publer

Posts what somebody at the company photographed

Cheapest paid plan here, and it posts to Google

A scheduler priced per social account rather than per seat, which suits a pool company that runs one Facebook page and a Google Business Profile and little else. Its plans page names Google Business Updates as something it can publish, so a finished-pool photo can land on the profile a searching customer finds rather than only in a feed.

    What it costs
Its plans page prints both modes inside the same card, above a Monthly and Yearly (2 months free) control. Professional read $5.00 a month billed monthly or $4.00 a month billed yearly, and Business read $10.00 a month billed monthly or $8.00 a month billed yearly. A free forever tier is listed at $0.00 with 1 user, 1 workspace, 3 social accounts excluding X, 10 scheduled posts per account, 25 saved drafts and 24-hour post history. Professional carries a 7-day trial and Business a 14-day one. publer.com/plans, read 15 September 2026
    Best for
A pool company that does take photos on the phone and wants them queued to Facebook and Google Business for a few dollars a month instead of posted at eleven at night.

    Honest limitation

Its core job is scheduling, not making the photo: the AI-assisted text and image generation it advertises is unlimited only on the Business tier, so the entry-level Professional plan a single truck would take still needs somebody to photograph the work. Pricing is per social account, and the free tier excludes X entirely and holds published posts for 24 hours. publer.com/plans, read 15 September 2026

  6. Buffer

Posts what somebody at the company photographed

Smallest step from a phone camera roll to a queue

A calendar, a queue and very little standing between the two. For a crew already photographing finished pools on a phone, this is the shortest distance to a posting schedule, and its free tier can carry a single van indefinitely without ever becoming a bill.

    What it costs
Its billing control ships with Yearly already selected. In that state Essentials read $5 per channel per month printed as $60 billed yearly, and Team $10 per channel per month printed as $120 billed yearly. Clicking Monthly changed the same two to $6 and $12 per channel per month, each labelled Billed monthly. A free forever tier covers up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel, 100 ideas and 1 user account, with 30 days of insights history, and paid tiers carry a 14-day trial. buffer.com/pricing, read 15 September 2026
    Best for
A pool company whose only real problem is that posting is manual, and that would rather not learn a second piece of software this year.

    Honest limitation

It creates no images or video, so somebody at the company still has to photograph the work and write the first draft. Billing is per channel, so a pool company that adds a second location's Facebook page pays twice, and the free tier is capped at 3 channels and 10 scheduled posts each. buffer.com/pricing, read 15 September 2026

  7. Metricool

Posts what somebody at the company photographed

Scheduling plus the numbers, and Google in the list

A scheduler with reporting and competitor tracking bolted on, and it names Google Business Profile right on its pricing page. A pool company that wants to know whether posting is doing anything, rather than only that it happened, is paying for the reporting half as much as the publishing half.

    What it costs
Its plans page carries an Annual (save up to 24%) control and a Monthly one, and renders both ladders. The annual ladder listed Starter from $20 a month for up to 5 brands and $36 for 10, and Advanced from $53 a month for 15 brands, $85 for 25 and $159 for 50, each billed annually. The monthly ladder listed the same tiers at $25 and $45, then $67, $107 and $210 a month billed monthly. A free tier is listed at $0 a month covering 1 brand, every network except LinkedIn and X, up to 20 scheduled posts a month, 5 competitor profiles and 30 days of analytics. metricool.com/pricing, read 15 September 2026
    Best for
A pool business large enough to care whether the posts move anything, with somebody willing to read a monthly report.

    Honest limitation

It generates no images or video, so somebody still has to photograph the work, and its entry ladder starts at five brands, which is four more than a pool company usually has, so the cheapest paid tier is priced for an agency and sold to a pool company at the same number. The free tier caps scheduling at 20 posts a month and leaves out LinkedIn and X. metricool.com/pricing, read 15 September 2026

How this list was ranked

The stake first: we build SpeedRun Social, it is entry three on this list, and ContentStudio and Ocoya are ranked above it. A roundup written by a vendor earns a pool company's time only when the vendor says so before the ranking rather than in a line under it, so it is said here.

On 15 September 2026 every vendor's own pricing page was loaded in a browser, and the address bar was checked against the address that had been requested before a single number was read. Every number below was taken from the vendor's own page, never from a review site, a rival roundup or a chatbot's answer.

Several of these pages open with the annual price already selected, so the first number a pool company sees is usually a yearly commitment. Each priced entry below states the monthly figure and the yearly one, because our own plans are sold monthly and lining a rival's annual rate up against our monthly one would flatter us in the comparison.

The ranking measure is pool-specific. Most trade advice assumes somebody photographed the finished job, and pool service is the trade where that assumption breaks hardest: the work happens while the homeowner is at work, the finished result is a clear pool that photographs as nothing, and the proof that matters is a before shot nobody was there to take. So the list is ordered by how much of a week survives when no photograph was taken, and then by what the cheapest plan that actually manages it costs. Entries one through three make the picture and the words and post them. Four makes the picture but will not publish it below its second tier. Five through seven post what somebody at the company photographed.

That measure puts ContentStudio first, and a pool company shopping on price alone should take either ContentStudio or Ocoya over us, because both ask less for the same weekly output. What we add is short video, an approval queue and a free weekly campaign that starts with no card, and a shop that wants those pays more for them. Google Business Profile cuts the other way too: the schedulers at the bottom of this list all name it on their pricing pages, which matters in a trade where the customer with a green pool is searching rather than scrolling.

That measure puts Metricool last, and it would place near the top of a list ranked on knowing whether the posting worked, because it is the only tool here that pairs scheduling with full analytics and reporting. A pool company that loses more work to not knowing what moves the needle than to an empty feed should read its entry first rather than last. You will find no stars, no scores and no count of how many pool companies use anything here: we are a young company with a small customer list, and putting a number out of five beside seven products would describe a trial nobody ran.

Questions pool companies ask about this list

  • What is the best social media tool for pool service?

ContentStudio, for a pool company that wants the caption, the image, the short video and the posting all handled by one tool. Its Standard plan read $19 a month billed annually or $29 a month billed monthly for 5 social accounts, and publishing is included rather than held back for a dearer tier (contentstudio.io/pricing, read 15 September 2026). SpeedRun Social, our own product, does the same jobs and adds an approval queue and a free weekly campaign, and it is ranked third because it costs more. A pool company that already photographs the work and only needs it queued should look at Publer or Buffer instead.

  • What is the cheapest social media tool for pool service?

On the pages read on 15 September 2026, the cheapest paid plan of any kind was Publer Professional at $5.00 a month billed monthly or $4.00 a month billed yearly for one social account, followed by Buffer Essentials at $6 per channel per month billed monthly or $5 billed annually. The cheapest way to have the pictures made for you was ContentStudio Standard at $19 a month billed annually or $29 a month billed monthly. Publer, Buffer and Metricool each keep a permanent free tier instead of a countdown, and so do we.

  • Is there a free social media tool for pool service?

Four on this list keep permanent free plans rather than countdowns. Publer's is free forever, with one workspace, three social accounts that leave out X, and ten queued posts per account. Buffer's covers up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel and 1 user. Metricool's covers one brand and at most twenty scheduled posts a month, with LinkedIn and X left out. Ours is 300 credits a month refilled forever, one free campaign a week (3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post), no card, watermarked media on free. ContentStudio and Ocoya run a 7-day trial, and Predis.ai's 7-day trial takes a card and charges it when the week ends.

  • Which of these make the photos, and which only post the ones I take?

ContentStudio, Ocoya and SpeedRun Social generate the media. Publer, Buffer and Metricool publish what you bring them, which for a pool company usually means somebody has to photograph the pool and write the caption first. Predis.ai sits on the line: its Core tier makes the images but is marked No Auto Posting, so automatic publishing starts one tier up.

  • Do any of these post to my Google Business Profile?

This matters more for a pool company than for most trades, because a customer with a green pool searches rather than scrolls. On the pages read on 15 September 2026, Publer named Google Business Updates among the things it publishes, Metricool named Google Business Profile on its pricing page, Buffer listed it among the channels it can reach, and ContentStudio and Ocoya each listed Google Business among their supported networks. Before buying on this point, open the vendor's own integrations page, since a pricing page is not the same thing as an integration list.

  • How much should a pool service company expect to pay?

On the figures read on 15 September 2026, a pool company doing this properly lands between roughly $5 and $67 a month. Publer Professional was $5.00 a month billed monthly or $4.00 billed yearly, Buffer Essentials $6 per channel billed monthly or $5 billed annually, ContentStudio Standard $19 a month billed annually or $29 billed monthly, Ocoya Starter $29 a month billed monthly, and Metricool Starter $25 a month billed monthly or $20 billed annually. Our own ladder is Paid plans are $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month billed monthly, or $39.99, $79.99 and $159.99 a month billed annually. A single truck running one Facebook page and a Google Business Profile can start at nothing on three of these.

  • Where should a pool service company actually start?

Put one real week through two tools and compare what comes out, because the free plans and trials above exist for exactly that and nothing on this page replaces it. Our free weekly campaign has no countdown and no card, so it is the one you can start tonight and ignore until the week is built. Every figure on this page was true on 15 September 2026; prices move, and the links beside each entry exist so you can check theirs and ours before any of them decides a purchase.
