Seven tools ranked by how much of the whole job each one does before an electrical shop pays anything (the caption, the image and a short video, then the post itself, on a free plan that does not expire, with watermarked media), each priced from the vendor's own page on one named date, with the two pages we could not read named instead of guessed, by a company that sells one of the seven.

Our stake first, then the rule. SpeedRun Social is ours, and the order starts from how much of the job a tool does before an electrical shop pays anything. NiceJob, a reputation tool we do not own, takes second, and an emergency trade is hired off reviews before feeds, so a shop whose gap is reviews should start there. Every priced claim links to the vendor page it was read from, with the date. Two pages would not render for us at all that day, and those entries quote nothing rather than guessing; the rest are quoted in every billing mode the vendor publishes.

Close the work order and the software asks the customer for the review, then publishes the best ones to your social pages and your website as proof in the homeowner's own words. For a trade hired off search results and word of mouth, that loop earns second place under this page's second rule, and it is where an electrician whose gap is reviews should look first.

    Prices scale with a customer-count selector, and on its default band of up to 2,500 customers the page listed Reviews at $75 a month billed monthly and Pro at $125, with a Sites website product at $99 a month plus a one-time $199 setup fee. No annual rate appears anywhere on the page, so monthly is the only mode it sells. An older pair of cards further down still lists Grow at $75 and Grow plus Sites at $174. Send the invoice and the ask follows, so the proof loop runs as a side effect of a day you were managing anyway, and electrical is one of the trades on its industry list. It ranks third because the price of that byproduct is moving your scheduling, quoting and invoicing onto it first.

    Social media is not what it sells: the plan rows are scheduling and dispatch, quotes, invoicing, payments and review management, and the AI on the page answers phone calls rather than writing posts.     The plainest thing on the page: a queue, a calendar, and a free plan that never turns into a bill. It reaches Google Business Profile as a first-class channel, which is the surface an electrician's next customer actually reads, and its AI Assistant writes and refines the caption for whatever your crew photographs. It will not make the photo or the video.

    What Buffer costs
    Buffer's toggle ships on Yearly. In that state Essentials read $5 a month for one channel, printed as $60 billed yearly and badged save 2 months, and Team read $10, printed as $120 billed yearly. Pressing Monthly changed the pair to $6 and $12 a month per channel, labelled Billed monthly. The Free plan is $0 forever: up to 3 channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel with refills, 100 ideas and 1 user, with the AI Assistant included.     Where Buffer stops

    Buffer's AI Assistant writes and refines captions on every plan (buffer.com/pricing.md, read 5 October 2026), but no image or video is generated anywhere in its feature lists, so the camera roll stays the bottleneck it was.     The most machinery on the page: review invitations, a shared inbox that texts back every missed call, phones, and an AI add-on that answers when the office cannot. It earns plenty from finished work, and it charges for the privilege at five times NiceJob's entry, behind a sales conversation instead of a checkout.

    Podium's page prints three plans and prices two of them, as monthly figures with no billing toggle anywhere: Core at $399 a month, Pro at $599, and Signature on request. Every plan's button opens a sales conversation rather than a checkout.     Nothing on the page publishes a post: the machinery is reviews, messaging and phones, so the feed itself stays empty unless something else fills it.     The default answer in every trade group thread, and an honest one as far as it goes: templates, a drag-and-drop editor, and a finished graphic exactly as good as the time you gave it. What it does not do is notice a finished job, write a caption, or fill a week by itself. The labor moves from the feed to the editor rather than away from you.

    We tried three times to read canva.com/pricing on this date, with fresh loads and waits between attempts, and every one of them ended at the same verification wall without a plan, a price or a feature list ever rendering. So this page quotes no Canva figure at all rather than repeating one from memory or from somebody else's article.     Because its pricing page never rendered for us, nothing in this row is a comparison: not cost, not tiers, not what its free version includes today.     It runs electrical businesses, and that is the point: quotes, scheduling, dispatch and invoicing rather than posts. The name keeps surfacing in marketing searches because everybody in the trades knows it, so it is on this list to say plainly what it is, and not to price it, because on the day we checked, its pricing page would not let us.

    What Jobber costs
    On this date getjobber.com/pricing showed us nothing: the request returned a security check that looped through a fresh load, a reload and a long wait without ever resolving into a page. How this list was put in order

The stake first: we build SpeedRun Social, it is entry one of seven, and the reputation tool we do not own sits one place below it. A vendor that ranks itself earns a reader's attention only by saying so before the list begins, so it is said at the top.

Every figure on this page comes from a render of the vendor's own pricing page in our browser on 31 August 2026, with billing toggles pressed where they exist and the figures re-read after the switch. Two pages never rendered: Jobber's and Canva's each served a verification wall through repeated attempts, so their entries carry no numbers at all rather than stale ones. Nothing here is restated from a review site, another roundup or an assistant's answer.

Billing modes are named everywhere a price appears. Housecall Pro and Buffer publish a monthly rate and an annual one, and both entries quote both. NiceJob and Podium publish monthly figures only, and their entries say so instead of inventing a discount. Our own ladder is quoted in the only mode we offer (billed monthly) for the same reason.

The ranking rule has two steps, and the first decides first place. Step one asks how much of the job a tool does before an electrical shop pays anything: the caption, the image, a short video and the post itself, on a free plan that does not expire. Of the five pages that rendered, only SpeedRun Social does all four for nothing. NiceJob and Housecall Pro open on 14-day trials, Buffer's free plan never expires but makes no image and no video, and Podium's page publishes no posts at all. Canva's and Jobber's pages never rendered, so neither can be shown to do it. Free-plan media carries a watermark.

Step two orders the six below us, and it is about how this trade gets hired. Electrical work is searched for, not scrolled into: the customer reads reviews first and checks the feed second, to see that the company is real and recent. So the six run on how much public marketing a tool produces from work your crew already finished, before anyone writes, designs or photographs anything, and then on the cheapest plan that does it. That is why a reputation tool sits second, and why the editor where you make everything yourself sits near the bottom.

Where a rival beats us, plainly. NiceJob is the better choice if reviews are the gap: it asks every finished job for one and publishes the best, for $75 a month billed monthly on the page read 31 August 2026, and we collect none. Buffer is the better choice if your crew already photographs clean panel work and only the queue is missing, since its free plan never expires. Housecall Pro is the better choice if the real problem is scheduling, quoting and invoicing, which no tool that makes posts will fix.

The two unread pages cost their vendors position, and that is stated rather than hidden: Jobber sits last because nothing about it could be verified today, not because of anything its software did. When its page renders again, this list gets re-read against it.
