Ranked for real estate agents

Best social media tools for real estate agents in 2026

Seven tools ranked by how much of an agent's week gets made and posted when there is nothing new to list, with every price read from the vendor's own page on one named date by a company that sells one of them and says so before the ranking.

Ours is entry two, not entry one. It starts free every week: 3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post, plus 300 credits a month refilled forever. No card asked for, and free-plan media carries a small watermark.

Between listings is exactly when an agent's feed usually goes quiet, and the tool built to prevent that best is ContentStudio: $29 a month billed monthly, or $19 billed annually, for a Standard tier that writes the caption, builds the graphic, and publishes both without opening a design app (contentstudio.io/pricing, read 4 September 2026). SpeedRun Social, ours, comes in second.

Second because ContentStudio's paid plan beats ours on price for roughly the same weekly output, plain and simple. What we add instead is a full free week with no card and nothing counting down toward a cutoff. The five names that follow are ordered by how much of an empty week still gets made and posted, then by what the cheapest capable plan costs, every figure pulled from that company's own page on 4 September 2026.

The seven tools, ranked by how much they cover

Every priced claim below links to the vendor page it was read from and the date it was read. Where a vendor publishes a monthly price and an annual one, both are quoted, because most of these pages open on a discounted view.

  1. ContentStudio

Builds the listing post and the caption, then publishes it

Cheapest plan that writes the caption and publishes it

The listing photo and the caption get generated as a pair here, scheduled without extra steps, on the same cheapest tier ContentStudio sells rather than a pricier one. An agent with no assistant between closings and no time to fire up a design tool gets the entire job handled for the lowest price on this page.

    What it costs
Its plan cards read Standard at $29 a month billed monthly, or $19 a month billed annually printed as $228 a year, for 5 social accounts, 1 workspace, 1 user, 25,000 AI text credits, 25 AI image credits and 100 AI video credits. Advanced read $69 a month billed monthly or $49 billed annually (printed as $588 a year) for 10 accounts, and Agency Unlimited read $139 a month billed monthly or $99 billed annually (printed as $1,188 a year) for unlimited accounts. Its own FAQ states plainly that paying yearly drops Standard from $29 to $19 a month, a saving of up to 34%. contentstudio.io/pricing, read 4 September 2026
    Best for
Suits an agent ready to pay from month one for writing, designing and publishing bundled together across a handful of accounts.

    Honest limitation

There is no free plan. The page states outright that it does not offer a free forever plan, and the way in is a 7-day trial with no card. Standard seats one user, and the social inbox sits on Advanced at $69 a month billed monthly or $49 billed annually, so a team of one agent and one assistant is shopping the second tier for shared drafting. Media generation on Standard is metered at 25 AI image credits and 100 AI video credits a month, and its pricing page names no real-estate-specific feature at all. contentstudio.io/pricing, read 4 September 2026

  2. SpeedRun Social

    our product

Builds the listing post and the caption, then publishes it

Same coverage, plus video, and a free week that needs no card

Feed it your own site and it assembles a brand kit, then drafts captions and images straight from the listing photos you upload, holding every post in a queue until it clears your review, which is exactly where a brokerage disclosure gets caught before it ever goes live. Disclosure: this is our product, on our own list, and ContentStudio is ranked above it because its paid plan does the same job for less money.

    What it costs
Free plan: 300 credits a month refilled forever, 1 free campaign a week (3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post), no card required, media watermarked on the free plan. Paid plans are $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month billed monthly, or $39.99, $79.99 and $159.99 a month billed annually. speedrunsocial.com/pricing, read 4 September 2026
    Best for
An agent who wants to watch a full week of drafts appear from a listing shoot and approve them from a phone, before paying for anything.

    Honest limitation

Our cheapest paid plan costs $20.99 more a month than ContentStudio's, media generated on the free plan carries a watermark, and there is no social inbox and no review monitoring, so a past client's message on another platform still waits wherever it waits now. We are the youngest company on this list by some distance, and an agent who wants software with a long track record has a fair reason to start with somebody else. speedrunsocial.com/pricing, read 4 September 2026

  3. Predis.ai

Builds the graphic, and only the dearer tier publishes it

Most generated media per dollar, once you pay to publish it

A line of text turns into images and short video with captions attached, and Predis.ai's entry tier buys more of that generated media per dollar than anything else here. The catch is that the entry tier will not actually publish the result, a detail worth reading before paying for it.

    What it costs
The page read Core at $24 a month whether billed monthly or paid $288 billed yearly, marked down from a $32 regular rate, with 1,300 credits a month (roughly 86 AI images or 9 videos), 1 brand and 10 social channels. Rise read $55 a month either way, printed as $664 billed yearly and marked down from $79, with 3,200 credits, up to 4 brands and 20 channels. Enterprise+ read $212 a month either way, printed as $2,540 billed yearly and marked down from $249, with 10,000 credits and unlimited brands. Extra brands cost $5 a month, extra channels $5 to $99, and extra credits $29. predis.ai/pricing, read 4 September 2026
    Best for
Works for an agent happy posting by hand, or already paying for a separate scheduler, chasing a stack of just-listed and open-house graphics as cheaply as possible.

    Honest limitation

The cheapest tier will not post for you. Core is listed with no auto-posting alongside its 1,300 credits, so automatic publishing starts at Rise, $55 a month billed monthly or billed yearly. The page shows no free plan, so the real entry price for an agent who wants this to run unattended is the Rise number, not the Core one. predis.ai/pricing, read 4 September 2026

  4. Buffer

Publishes only the photos you already have

Smallest step from the photographer's files to a queue

Nothing but a calendar and a queue here, billed per channel rather than per seat. For an agent whose actual content is a photographer's finished listing set, this is the fastest route from a folder of files to a live posting schedule.

    What it costs
With the billing toggle set to Yearly, Essentials read $5 a month per channel billed annually, printed as $60 a year, and Team read $10 a month per channel billed annually, printed as $120 a year. Switching to Monthly changed the same two to $6 and $12 a month per channel billed monthly. A free forever plan covers up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel and 1 user, paid tiers carry a 14-day trial, and the page's own FAQ dates its last price change to November 2025. buffer.com/pricing, read 4 September 2026
    Best for
Best for an agent who already has the photographer's files and only needs a queue, not anything generated from scratch.

    Honest limitation

It creates no images or video, so somebody still has to have the listing photographed and write the first draft. Billing is per channel, so a second brokerage page is a second bill. Its feature comparison table now lists Google Business Profile with automatic publishing included, which reads differently than the last time a sibling page on this site checked it. buffer.com/pricing, read 4 September 2026

  5. Later

Publishes only the photos you already have

A caption assistant bolted onto a visual calendar

Everything here revolves around a visual grid, with an AI assistant writing captions and floating ideas once a topic gets set. It edits existing photos rather than generating anything, which suits an agent already sitting on a full set from a listing shoot.

    What it costs
Its Starter plan read $25 a month billed monthly, or $18.75 a month billed annually (a 25% discount plus 3 months free), for 1 social set covering 8 profiles and 5 AI idea credits a month. Growth read $50 a month billed monthly or $37.50 billed annually for 2 social sets, and Scale read $110 a month billed monthly or $82.50 billed annually for 6 social sets. later.com/pricing, read 4 September 2026
    Best for
A fit for an agent who enjoys arranging listings into a visual feed and wants ideas suggested between shoots rather than dreamed up alone.

    Honest limitation

It writes captions and suggests ideas but generates no images or video of its own, only edits media you upload. There is no free forever plan, only a 14-day trial, and its pricing page makes no mention of Google Business Profile at all. later.com/pricing, read 4 September 2026

  6. Metricool

Publishes only the photos you already have

Scheduling plus analytics, with Google Business Profile in the list

Scheduling comes bundled with analytics, and Google Business Profile shows up by name on the pricing page itself, which matters when a seller finds an agent through a search rather than a scroll. Roughly half of what Metricool charges is really paying for that reporting layer.

    What it costs
Billed annually, its page read Starter from $20 a month for 5 brands or $36 for 10, and Advanced from $53 a month for 15 brands, $85 for 25, or $159 for 50. Billed monthly, the same tiers read $25, $45, then $67, $107 and $210. A free tier covers 1 brand and up to 20 scheduled posts a month, and Google Business Profile appears on the page as a supported network. metricool.com/pricing, read 4 September 2026
    Best for
Makes sense for an agent willing to check a monthly report, wanting the Google listing and social accounts scheduled from one dashboard.

    Honest limitation

It makes no images or video, so the agent still has to supply what gets posted. The free tier caps at 20 posts a month and leaves out LinkedIn and X, the network most agents use to reach past clients and other agents, and its cheapest paid tier is sized for a brokerage managing several brands rather than one agent. metricool.com/pricing, read 4 September 2026

  7. Vista Social

Publishes it, and chases the past-client reviews too

Handles past-client reviews too, at the highest entry price

This is the only name on the list pairing review management and a shared inbox with actual publishing. An agent whose next listing comes from a past client's referral more often than from a stranger liking a post is buying a different tool than everything ranked above it.

    What it costs
Professional read $79 a month billed monthly, or $758 a year billed annually (a 20% discount), for 15 social profiles, 2 users, review tools on Facebook and Google Business, and a shared inbox. Advanced read $149 a month billed monthly or $1,430 billed annually for 30 profiles and review tools across 8 platforms. Scale read $349 a month billed monthly or $3,638 billed annually for 70 profiles. Every tier carries a 14-day trial with no card. vistasocial.com/pricing, read 4 September 2026
    Best for
A fit for an agent or small team with a past-client list worth actively managing, treating the software cost as routine rather than a stretch.

    Honest limitation

There is no free plan, and $79 a month billed monthly is the highest entry price on this list, roughly $50 more than ContentStudio for the part an agent cannot do alone. Its cheapest tier is sized at 15 social profiles and 2 users, more capacity than a single agent typically needs, and it generates no images or video of its own. vistasocial.com/pricing, read 4 September 2026

How this list was ranked

One admission before anything else: we build SpeedRun Social, it holds entry two on this list, and ContentStudio outranks it. That line belongs at the top of a vendor's own roundup, not buried where a skimming reader misses it.

Reading these prices took a real browser, not a plain fetch: Buffer and Metricool only reveal their monthly-billed rate after a billing toggle is clicked, and a static page load never shows it at all. Every figure below traces to that vendor's own address, checked against the address actually requested, on 4 September 2026. None of it came secondhand from a review aggregator or another site's own list.

Watch the default view on most of these pages: it is the annual number, dressed up to look like the price, when plenty of agents pay month to month instead. So every entry states both figures, because comparing somebody's annual rate against our own monthly-quoted plans would flatter the wrong column.

The order below follows one real problem: the stretch with nothing new to list is exactly when an agent's feed goes quiet, and that is the week worth optimizing for. Rank by how much of that empty stretch still gets made and posted, then settle ties on price. The top two entries generate the image and the caption and publish both. The third generates the image but will not publish it below a dearer tier. The rest only publish whatever an agent already has on hand from a shoot.

Reorder this list around staying in touch with past clients instead, and Vista Social jumps from last to first, because it is the only entry bundling review management with a shared inbox, and a referral from a past client outweighs a stranger scrolling past a listing post. Two real-estate-adjacent vendors got tried and dropped here: coffeeandcontracts.com redirected its own pricing page to an unrelated domain rather than showing a number, and BombBomb states outright on its own pricing page that it is video email, no social posting anywhere in the product.

No score out of five, no ranking widget, no client count next to any of these seven names. We are new at this, with a short list of actual customers, and inventing a rating would dress up a study nobody conducted. Treat every number here as true for one afternoon in September, and click through before it costs you anything.

Questions agents ask about this list

  • What is the best social media tool for a real estate agent?

Pick ContentStudio if what you want is the listing post and the caption produced and published without opening a design app. Standard runs $29 a month billed monthly, or $19 billed annually, with publishing bundled into the cheapest tier instead of a pricier one (contentstudio.io/pricing, read 4 September 2026). We land second on this list with the same job plus a free weekly campaign and no card, costing more only once an agent starts paying. If the photographer already sent the files and all you need is a queue, look at Buffer or Later first.

  • What is the cheapest social media tool for a real estate agent?

Buffer Essentials sat lowest of everything checked on 4 September 2026: $5 a month per channel billed annually, or $6 billed monthly. If the goal is generated graphics instead, Predis.ai's Core tier beat that at $24 a month, though nothing on that tier will actually publish for you. Two names here, Buffer and Metricool, keep a real free plan year-round rather than a trial window, same as we do.

  • Is there a free social media tool for real estate agents?

Buffer and Metricool both run permanent free plans instead of a clock. Buffer's covers 3 channels at 10 scheduled posts per channel for 1 user, no expiration. Metricool's covers 1 brand and 20 scheduled posts a month, everything except LinkedIn and X. Ours: 300 credits a month refilled forever, 1 free campaign a week (3 posts, 1 video, 1 cross-post), no card required, media watermarked on the free plan. The remaining three, ContentStudio, Vista Social and Predis.ai, either run a trial (7 or 14 days) or list no free tier whatsoever.

  • Which of these build the listing graphic, and which only post what I upload?

ContentStudio, SpeedRun Social and Predis.ai generate media from scratch. Buffer, Later and Metricool only publish what you already have, which for most agents means a photographer's listing set or a phone photo from an open house. Predis.ai sits between the two: its Core tier makes the images but refuses to auto-post them, so publishing only starts one tier up.

  • Do any of these mention Google Business Profile?

Fewer agents lean on it than on Instagram or Facebook, but two of these vendors named it directly on 4 September 2026. Buffer's feature comparison table listed Google Business Profile with automatic publishing bundled in, and Metricool put it on the pricing page as a supported network outright. Later never brought it up at all.

  • How much should a real estate agent expect to pay?

The spread across everything checked 4 September 2026 runs roughly $6 to $79 a month: Buffer at $6 monthly or $5 annually, ContentStudio at $29 monthly or $19 annually, Metricool at $25 monthly or $20 annually, Vista Social at $79 monthly or $758 a year annually. Our own tiers: Paid plans are $49.99, $99.99 and $199.99 a month billed monthly, or $39.99, $79.99 and $159.99 a month billed annually. Two of the seven, Buffer and Metricool, let a solo agent with one Instagram account and a Google listing start spending nothing at all.
